Super awesome and outrageously busy weekend!

WOW!

Since Friday evening I've been at the Women2.0 sponsored Startup Weekend here at sfCUBE in San Francisco!

Over 150 people met, formed ideas, then worked their butts off to come up with a presentable product or service in 52 hours!

I was fortunate enough to join the BEST team; EscapeMyDate.com!

We created a FREE service for people who need to Escape any kind of sticky situation!

I was able to witness and participate in the ground-up formation of a startup company! From idea storming to business plans to ways to market and monetize!

I've got to run and finish up  with my teammates to come up with our after-weekend strategy! I'll update tomorrow morning and let everyone know what our future plans are!

All quiet on the western front

Things have been rather dead in the job-hunting world the last week.

I landed a job doing retail work for minimum wage while I keep an eye out for that "perfect job"!

I've also sourced a video camera and someone to help me shoot a new webreality show documenting my search! So hopefully within the next week we'll have the first HireMeSF video up!

I'm on my way to work now so I'll keep this short!!

I'm working on getting a videoblog started and hopefully the Apple Store @ Union Square will let me use their computers and editing software!(If you know anyone at that location let me know!!)

I've been getting lots of feedback and appreciate it all! If you have any questions or concerns don't hold back! E-mail me! HireMeSF@gmail.com

I'll be on the Embarcadero tomorrow afternoon so if you see me don't hesitate to stop and say "Hey!", I don't bite!

Feeling great!

Last night was fantastic! I attended the Job Forum(Job Forum-Wednesday 6:30PM @ 235 Montgomery-12th floor) and it was very informative! There was a professional panel to moderate the forum and to offer suggestions to improve our job chances.

I took some notes and will be updating the blog when I can adding the information I learned!

Today I will have business cards made with the Project's name/URL and my number.Hopefully it will help gain more contacts in this city and increase my chances of landing the "perfect job"!

Keep your faith up!
